Terms of use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply to the game Viva Freeride at vivafreeride.com (the "game") and to the optional season pass. By playing or buying you accept them.
Who we are
The game is made and run by Daniel Sappa, sole proprietorship (ENK), Rømskog, Norway. Organisation number: 923 090 304. Email: dani@vivafreeride.com.
What the game is
An unofficial fan project: a free-ride snowboard and ski game on terrain built from public elevation data. It is a game, not a map, a guide or a safety tool. Never use it to plan a real trip, route or descent. Real mountains have avalanches, weather, closed pistes and other dangers that the game does not show.
Free and paid parts
St. Moritz is free. The season pass is a one-time payment that unlocks the other resorts in the game for the personal use of the buyer. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It is not a ski pass or lift ticket and gives no access to any real lift, resort or service.
Buying the pass
- Payment is handled by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, who is the seller of record. Prices include VAT/sales tax where it applies. Lemon Squeezy's terms apply to the purchase itself.
- After purchase you get a pass code by email. Enter it in the game to unlock the resorts. Keep the code private; please do not share it publicly. We may switch off codes that are shared widely or refunded.
- Refunds are described on the refund page.
Fair use
You may play, and you may record and share clips of your own gameplay, including on social media. Please do not copy, host, resell or reverse-engineer the game or its data, or remove the credits.
Names, maps and data
Mountain, lift, resort and place names are used only to say where something is. No resort, lift company, tourism office or brand has endorsed or sponsored the game unless a page says so. Elevation data: swissALTI3D, Federal Office of Topography swisstopo (©swisstopo). Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors. Photos and artwork belong to their makers and are used with permission or are our own.
No guarantees
The game is a prototype that is still changing. It is provided "as is", it may have bugs, it may change or be unavailable, and it may not run well on every device. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost progress. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Norwegian law applies, but if you are a consumer you keep the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live.
